The ISV Foundation is a California non-profit educational corporation. We have been classified as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of the United States of America (the "Code") since August 1968. We are NOT a private foundation under the meaning of section 509(a) of the Code because we are described under section 509(a)(3) of the Code, which classifies us as a public charity. Contributions to us are tax-deductible under Section 170 of the Code.

Download a PDF copy of the ISV Foundation's IRS Tax-exempt determination letter. (This document consists of a confirmation issued 13 June 2008 by the Internal Revenue Service.)

We are also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devices, transfers, or gifts under section 2055, 2106, or 2522 of the Code. As a matter of practice, we rarely make or solicit private or public grants.

IRS 990 and CALIFORNIA FORMS 199, RRF-1

Documents posted in the light blue shaded rows of the table below fulfill requirements of 26 CFR Part 301 and 602 and 26 USC 6104(d) which require that the previous three years of our information returns be made available for public inspection and download on the Internet in lieu of maintaining a public inspection file for these documents in our offices. All documents posted below are true, accurate, and correct copies of the actual filings, even if they lack images of wet signatures by the individual who made the original filings.

Because the ISV Foundation's production of the Holy Bible: International Standard Version began with funding in the first quarter of 1996, we have also posted copies of annual filings going back to fiscal year 1996 in the table below. The ISV Foundation was mostly dormant under its previous operational name "LEARN, Inc.", so we haven't posted returns for pre-1996 activity.
