A Word about Giving...
While we do not
actively seek donations from public or private sources, we don't turn them
down when offered, either. If you would like to make a voluntary
contribution to the ISV Foundation to assist us to recover our costs
incurred in producing the International Standard Version, you may donate online using either PayPal.com, or Paybycheck.com, or
you may contribute the old
fashioned way using snail mail. In addition,
you may choose two alternative giving methods, Goodsearch™ or GoodShop™,
which are described below. Here are your choices:
Donate Online with a Personal Check using Paybycheck.com
PLEASE NOTE: Because
Article 3, Negotiable Instruments, of the
Uniform Commercial Code authorizes us to endorse a check on your behalf,
a wet ink donors' signature on the payer's endorsement line of an
electronic check sent to us from Paybycheck.com is not
necessary. For Internet transactions, our service meets all
NACHA
guidelines and
Regulation E requirements. All data is encrypted using
128 bit SSL certificates. Paybycheck also securely encrypts all session
information. Paybycheck does not sell or grant access to any information
unless required by law or court subpoena.
In case you're wondering
what it costs us to receive money from the folk at Paybycheck.com, we're
charged USD$1.08 for each transaction, no matter what the size of the
donation. By way of contrast, the folk at PayPal charge us a fee of
about 3% of each transaction.
