The ISV v1.4.6 reads:
13 And never bring us into temptation,
but deliver
us from the evil one.’[1]
——————————————
[1] 6:13 Other mss. read evil one. For yours is the kingdom and the power
and the glory forever. Amen.
Strictly speaking, the ISV does not leave this phrase out of Matthew 6:13.
It relegates that portion of the verse to a footnote. In the ISV, footnotes
are intended by the Committee on Translation to be considered as part of the
verse, but as a secondary part that adds more information. Readers are
invited to utilize their discretion as to whether or not mentally to modify
the text when reading it to conform to the material in the footnotes.
We have relegated the verse portion to which you refer to a footnote because
it does not appear in the majority of ancient Greek manuscripts that include
the gospel of Matthew. Enough of these manuscripts omit this portion of the
verse so that the omissions create some ambiguity about whether or not Jesus
actually said this statement as part of the discourse recorded in the Sermon
on the Mount, or at least in Matthew's edition of it. You'll note that the
statement doesn't appear in any Gk. mss. of Luke 11:2-4, so we haven't
placed this portion in a footnote for Luke 11:2-4, even though in Luke 11:2
we observe that the phrase "Our father in heaven" (which occurs in Matthew
6:9) doesn't occur in all mss. of Luke 11:2, either!
Please note by relegating the material to a footnote, we're not disputing
the truth of the statement. We're only noting that several NT mss. don't
include the statement. You may be interested to note that the statement to
which you refer is not original to Jesus. You'll find its first occurrence
in Scripture embedded within in the second half of 1 Chronicles 29:11, where
King Solomon addresses the Lord in a conversation:
11 To you, Lord, belongs
the greatness, and the valor,
and the
splendor, and the endurance, and the majesty
because all that is in heaven
and on earth
is yours.
To you belongs the kingdom, Lord,
and you are
exalted as head over all.
